We are seeking an experienced IP Litigation Partner to join our Boston or Los Angeles office as part of the continued expansion of our litigation practice. Experience in patent litigation and inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the PTAB is required. This role involves managing high-stakes patent disputes and advising sophisticated clients on complex intellectual property matters. Experience in other areas of IP litigation, trade secret disputes, and complex commercial litigation is preferred but not required. The Partner will collaborate closely with colleagues across offices and practices, including corporate, life sciences, and technology, and will play an active role in the growth and strategic direction of the firm’s IP litigation practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage intellectual property disputes from inception through trial, including patent
litigation and post-grant proceedings such as inter partes review (IPR) before the PTAB - Advise clients on risk assessment, litigation and trial strategy, IPR petition strategy and
defense - Assist in discovery, including fact and expert discovery, ESI strategy, depositions, and
discovery motion practice - Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions, including claim construction,
summary judgment, and Daubert motions - Cultivate and expand client relationships, actively contributing to business development
and practice growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience with IPR proceedings is required.
- JD and admission to the MA state bar; CA or NY preferred but not required.
Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience, ideally from a large law firm or recognized
litigation boutique. - Demonstrated experience with hearings, trials, and case management.
Strong track record of managing intellectual property disputes and managing client

Senior Associate, Corporate (Boston)

As a Senior Associate in our Corporate practice group you will play a key role advising clients through the full M&A lifecycle of buying and selling interests in businesses, business assets, and securities. This role is heavily focused on strategic acquisitions, divestitures, and exit transactions, working directly with founders, boards, private equity sponsors, and public companies.
Job Description:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions, including stock and asset purchases, mergers, carve-outs, and strategic exits.
- Negotiating and drafting primary and ancillary transaction documents, including letters of intent, purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, merger agreements, and closing deliverables.
- Advising clients on transaction structure, deal risk allocation, and execution strategy across acquisitions and sales.
- Managing and coordinating legal due diligence for both buyers and sellers, including issue spotting, risk assessment, and remediation strategies.
- Supporting venture capital and growth-stage transactions, particularly where tied to acquisition or exit planning.
- Counseling clients on post-closing integration, divestiture matters, and ongoing corporate governance.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams and external advisors to drive efficient, on-time closings.
- Staying current on U.S. and international corporate, M&A, and securities law developments affecting transactional work.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in Massachusetts or eligible for prompt admission.
- 4+ years of corporate transactional experience, with a clear emphasis on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, at a comparable law firm.
Desired Attributes & Skills:
- Demonstrated experience representing public and private companies on both the buy-side and sell-side; experience with related securities laws strongly preferred.
- A deal sheet reflecting meaningful M&A experience is expected.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to serve as the strategic partner and right hand to our Global Managing Partner. Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage complex, multi-time-zone calendars across global offices and international clients; proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize the Managing Partner’s time with limited direction.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, visas, accommodations, and last-minute adjustments while ensuring seamless execution.
- As needed process and reconcile expenses, pre-bills, and financial logistics with precision; support billing coordination and maintain strict confidentiality across sensitive client matters.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and prepare high-level correspondence, presentations, meeting materials, and confidential documents; demonstrate exceptional document production and technological proficiency.

Qualifications:
