Boston-area Law Firm Ranked Among 100 Fastest-Growing Veteran-Owned
Businesses
Written by: Caldwell
Boston, November 7, 2024 – Caldwell has been named to annual Vet100 list—a compilation of the nation’s fastest growing veteran-owned businesses. The ranking, created in partnership with Inc. Business Media and Syracuse University’s D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), was born out of the iconic Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies based in the U.S. Both distinctions are considered hallmarks of entrepreneurial success.
Originally established as the Vet50 list, the list was expanded in 2020 to include 100 veteran-owned businesses in acknowledgment of the growing culture and success of veteran entrepreneurs.
“I’m deeply grateful to see Caldwell honored again on the Vet100 list. As a Marine, this recognition is particularly meaningful to me, as it highlights the journey of the law firm I established and our commitment to excellence,” said Keegan Caldwell, Global Managing Partner at Caldwell. “What I cherish most is our role in supporting entrepreneurs who rely on us for guidance with their trademarks and patents. This acknowledgment truly belongs to them, celebrating their vision and relentless pursuit of success.”
Caldwell works with clients from startups to globally recognized brands in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, biofuels, medical devices, data security, internet technologies, process automation, mobile apps, social media, software, space exploration, and more. Attorneys at Caldwell have extensive experience assisting clients to identify and realize their business objectives through intellectual property. The firm recently made the Inc. 5000 for the fifth consecutive year.
“We are proud to partner with the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families in recognizing these outstanding veteran leaders and the significant contributions they make to our economy and communities. Their success stories inspire us all and reaffirm the vital role veterans play in shaping the future of business in America,” said Mike Hofman, Inc. editor-in-chief.
“Veteran entrepreneurs apply leadership and management skills learned from their military service to fuel their business growth and benefit local communities,” said Dr. Mike Haynie, Syracuse University Vice Chancellor as well as the Founder and Executive Director of the D’Aniello IVMF. “These business owners are a critical component of the small business landscape, and we’re excited to see IVMF program graduates recognized by Inc. Business Media, particularly those who are enjoying recurring placement on the Vet100 list. We appreciate Inc.’s ongoing commitment to highlighting these success stories. We all take pride in moments like these and we’re grateful for the continued partnership with Inc. Business Media.”
Vet100 honorees will be formally recognized during the Vet100 Dinner & Awards Ceremony at IVMF’s Veteran EDGE Conference in Dallas, TX. For more information on the Vet100 list, visit: https://ivmf.syracuse.edu/vet100/
