Mario is a seasoned international transactional attorney with more than 12 years of experience advising founders, investors, and multinational companies on complex corporate matters. His practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital transactions, growth financings, strategic exits, and corporate counseling for emerging companies.

Since joining Caldwell, Mario has played a key role in expanding the firm’s corporate capabilities, advising clients across a broad range of industries including technology, blockchain, food, fashion, and manufacturing. He regularly serves as a strategic advisor to executives and investors navigating cross-border transactions, helping clients structure deals, manage risk, and execute growth strategies across jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Caldwell, Mario practiced in the M&A and Private Equity groups at A&O Shearman and BCLP LLP, where he advised on transactions ranging from middle-market acquisitions to complex international deals involving hundreds of millions of dollars in enterprise value. His experience includes advising on private equity investments, strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, and U.S. market entry initiatives for foreign companies.
