Overview

Kelsey is a Paralegal whose duties include:

  • Providing administrative support for members, associates, paralegals and other designated firm personnel.
  • Working closely with assigned teams managing the day-to-day activities within the Intellectual Property Litigation practice.
  • Preparing documents, pleadings, and filings for courts and other agencies.
  • Assisting with trial preparation and document management systems, which may include downloading patents and file histories.
  • Coordinating all administrative details on attorney projects including workflow between clients, timekeepers, production and routinely participating in training opportunities to advance skill levels and efficiency in firm software.

Experience

Kelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Rhode Island College, where she developed a keen understanding of the legal system and its intricacies. Driven by her passion for intellectual property law, Kelsey pursued further education and earned a Patent Law Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. Prior to her current role at Caldwell, Kelsey gained experience working alongside seasoned patent attorneys at a law firm in Providence, Rhode Island, assisting them with the preparation of patent procedural documents including non-final office actions, IDSs, transmittal documents, powers of attorney, etc.
