Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Kyle earned his Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University, where his research focused on developing cell state-directed therapeutic strategies and understanding mechanisms of drug resistance to RAS inhibitors in pancreatic cancer. His graduate work examined the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) as a drug-resistant phenotype and identified mesenchymal-selective dependencies that could be leveraged for novel therapeutics. Additionally, he conducted a genome-wide CRISPR screen anchored on RAS inhibitor treatment to uncover strategies for overcoming drug resistance in mesenchymal pancreatic cancer cells.
