Tariff Talk: Strategies and Compliance Insights for Italian Exporters and Investors
April 08, 2025

[Italian]
A recent shift in U.S. trade policy is sending shockwaves through European markets — particularly for Italian companies exporting consumer goods like apparel and furniture. Starting in April 2025, the U.S. has implemented a universal 10% tariff on all imports. For goods coming from the European Union, an additional 10% is being added, bringing the total tariff burden to 20%.
This change poses a significant challenge for Italian exporters trying to maintain their foothold in the U.S. market. Higher costs, supply chain complications, and shifting consumer demand are just the beginning.
At Caldwell, we understand how quickly evolving trade policies can ripple through a business. That’s why we’re hosting a live webinar to break down what these new tariffs mean — and what your business can do to stay ahead.
