Alexandra Pakzad

Overview

Alexandra Pakzad is the Director of Caldwell’s Trademark Practice, where she advises clients on every stage of the intellectual property lifecycle, from clearance and prosecution to enforcement, monetization, and strategic transactions. She has extensive experience managing global trademark portfolios, representing clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and federal courts, and advising on licensing, brand collaborations, and IP due diligence.

Known for her business-forward approach, Alexandra helps clients align their IP strategy with broader commercial objectives. She provides tailored guidance across trademark, copyright, and brand protection matters, and serves as outside general counsel to companies, advising on both day-to-day legal needs and long-term strategic planning.

Outside of her IP practice, Alexandra maintains a boutique equine law practice, representing clients in both transactional matters and disputes involving equine business and sport.

Experience

Prior to joining Caldwell, Alexandra spent several years in the intellectual property division of an AmLaw200 firm, where she advised a diverse range of clients, from early-stage startups to multinational corporations on trademark and brand protection.

Her legal experience is informed by a strong business background. As a principal and key advisor to one of the world’s most exclusive luxury brands, she led its global brand positioning and strategic initiatives, gaining first-hand insight into the business side of brand and IP management. Her business leadership has been recognized in the media, including a cover feature in Prospertere Magazine as 2018’s Leading Entrepreneurial Businesswoman.
