Overview
Takahiro is an Associate in Caldwell’s Corporate Practice. He specializes in international corporate matters, including all forms of M&A transactions, joint venture formations, and resolving cross-border disputes. His practice includes:
- Negotiating cross-border private equity transactions involving in the U.S., the UK/EU countries, Australia, South East Asia countries and Japan.
- Headquartering international disputes involving in the U.S., the UK/EU countries, Australia, South East Asia countries and Japan.
- Acting as external counsel on general legal matters related to the laws of the U.S., the England, and Japan.
Experience
Takahiro holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Tokyo. He is a fluent speaker of English and Japanese. Before joining Caldwell, he had worked approximately 8 years for Ashurst (Tokyo and Melbourne) and Nishimura & Asahi (Tokyo and Hanoi). With a global transactional experience and comprehensive understanding of cultural differences, he has been providing strategic and practical advice with the multinational companies in connection with private equity transactions, disputes and compliance issues, and other day to day legal matters related to the laws of the U.S., the England, and Japan.
