Overview
Zhiheng is a Technical Specialist and assists with all aspects of patent prosecution:
- Preparation and prosecution of patent applications
- Development and patentability analysis for clients
- Assisting with Patent Trial and Appeal Board Procedures including interferences, reexamination proceedings, inter partes reviews (IPR), post-grant reviews, ex parte appeals, and other proceedings before the PTAB
- Patent prosecution strategies for business growth and success
Experience
Prior to joining Caldwell, Zhiheng worked as a software engineer at Veracode, MassMutual, and Yonyou Software. At Veracode, he worked as a quality assurance engineer, helping build both UI and API test automation framework for Software Composition Analysis (SCA), which reduced Open-Source risks, and detected and fixed vulnerabilities in the software. At MassMutual, Zhiheng worked as a back-end developer, developing features for the patient/client portal which improved the overall ease of use, practicability, and efficiency of the online platform. At Yonyou Software, he worked as a front-end engineer and assisted in designing and developing the GUI for the enterprise’s mobile web application.
