Overview

Harry assists our clients in the UK and Europe. He is a UK and European qualified patent attorney and a representative before the Unified Patent Court. Harry has experience in every phase of the patent life cycle, and aims to provide pragmatic and strategic IP advice with the aim of helping clients to achieve their business goals. His work includes: 

  • IP strategy advice 
  • Patent prosecution, including invention harvesting, patent drafting, and liaising with the UKIPO and EPO 
  • Ex-Parte and Inter-Partes proceedings before the EPO 
  • FTO Analysis and Opinions 
  • M&A IP advice and due diligence 
  • Litigation and Arbitration support 

Experience

Harry is an experienced associate and manages the firm’s UK and European patent work. Prior to joining Caldwell, Harry worked at Dentons as a UK & European Patent Attorney.

Harry’s general practice covers a wide range of technologies, including electronics, mechanical devices, computer-implemented inventions, quantum technologies and medical devices. His main focus is on software, and he routinely works with AI-related inventions.

Harry has a Bachelors degree in physics from the University of Bristol and a Master’s degree in robotics from King’s College London, with particular focuses in AI, machine learning, and aerodynamics.
